St. Luc Hospital organized a Breast Cancer Awareness day.

– As part of the closing events of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, St. Luc Hospital organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Program on Friday, October 31, 2025. Nearly one hundred participants, including medical staff, patients, and visitors, gathered around a powerful message: Prevention saves lives.

The event aimed to inform and raise awareness about the importance of both early detection and regular breast self-examination as essential ways to reduce mortality from this disease.

We are deeply grateful to the Francesca Rava Foundation, whose generous support made this event possible and who has long stood beside the hospital in its humanitarian mission.

Testimonials from women who have survived breast cancer also resonated deeply, reminding everyone that diagnosis is not a death sentence when the disease is detected early. St. Luc Hospital offers breast ultrasound services for women and hopes to see this program expand in the coming years so that people with cancer can benefit from better medical, psychological, and social support.
