ST LUKE  FOUNDATION INFORMATION NOTE

The St Luke Foundation hereby expresses its solidarity with the Episcopal Conference of Haiti and ardently condemns the despicable kidnapping and sequestration of the seven Catholic clergy members which took place on April 11 in Croix-des-Bouquets.

To continue to support the religious sector and other victims of the kidnapping, St. Luke will close the doors of its 36 schools across the country on Wednesday 21, Thursday 22 and Friday 23 April 2021. The doors of St. Luke Hospital and our 9 satellite health centers will be opened in accordance with the CEH note.

The St Luke Foundation, even by its silence, will not stop condemning the climate of insecurity which prevails in the country and expresses its incredulity at the significant and repeated acts of kidnappings, which spare no one.

The St Luke Foundation is also counting on the contribution of the authorities to guarantee a calm climate by putting an end to the heinous acts which terrorize the Haitian population.
